On one side of the ring J to tha E starts off making us feel a little comfortable with dialogue. I thought it was funny he mentioned liking the sound of his voice going out because I like when mine does too! The name is quite optimistic, “Glass half full”, and the track shoots a chill ass beat giving me a throwback “NY undercover” vibe. It was hard for me to focus on lyrics the first listen then I gave it another go…
Coming back Stunna takes no time jumping in with a Tyga feel…. almost identical in fact. From the hand clap and the repeating “hey” in the back, had I not know it was Stunna, I would have assumed it was another YM product. “Fuck swaggin, I’m a kind in the club” sets the tone for a club banger for sure. As Murda mentioned above, these are two very different vibes and I’m rockin with Stunna on this one. I couldn’t sit still as I listened through. I had to “Britney bop” one time real quick!
