I found out last-minute I could help man the Juice Radio booth a Dunk Exchange sneaker convention. I had never been and quite frankly, a tad nervous because I am not so much a sneaker girl. This is what I ended up with and found once I got there it really didn’t matter what I had on, It was a fun kick back event. A lot of sneakers were for sale or trade both new and used. Local brands and their merch and some pretty dope performances were put on by Aye Logics and 84Fly.
The v-neck was a gift from my guy, A.K.A, who put on a Working Class Artist tour. Pretty much every indie rapper is a WCA, so I was pretty geeked to be gifted such an awesome shirt that not only has a dope design, but fits beautifully to my body.
I found this skirt at H&M for only $7 and didn’t know where or when I would ever wear it, but it was cute and a “steal” of a deal. I don’t care too much for the way H&M bottoms fit my body though. I strongly believe that since their company was based originally out of Sweden that their clothes are meant more for their native’s slim figures. My small waist and curvaceous bottom don’t do too well with this. The skirt fits over the cakes but doesn’t fit well with my waist, leaving a gap, and an insecurity to pull the skirt down constantly so it fits right.
I found the plastic red bow clip in Papaya at the impulse fixture for like $1, the gold bangles and hoops accent the big brown/wood bangle with gold trim, that ties in my cowboy boots. I wasn’t sure if it’d look okay, but I was running late and ended up loving the combo.
What did you think of my #OOTD? Have one of your own? Send me yours and I’ll post it!
NOW THAT’S THE JUICE!
