Official visual for Jay-Z’s first track and his most recent “Magna Carta Holy Grail”. They are definitely great visuals and I’m sure they all add up to a meaningful storyline, but I was so distracted by the track itself. I’ve never heard this version where it’s kind of chopped and screwed, I was thrown off and felt more anxious hoping it would speed up to regular beat. It never did. I didn’t like this version. I did like the video, see for yourself.

“Get the behind the music with Zay Zay as Jay-Z and Jo Jo as Kanye West in the recording studio with Beyonce, Blue Ivy, and Kim Kardashian. Watch the Throne… AGAIN.
Above, you will see two pairs of heels. I was incredibly torn on which to wear and I did not have anyone at home to help me choose. I decided to go with this color because of the accessories I chose to wear. I thought either one of these shoes would bring the gold out in the pearl bracelets. The top pair of heels remind me of Beyonce’s Monolo Blahnik Timbs in “Bonnie and Clyde ’03″… on the low!I found them for only $30 at Forever and snatched them up! They are probably the highest heel I own, but really comfortable to wear and walk in. There is a zipper on the back. My favorite part is the peep toe so that I could show off my new baby blue pedi. The bottom say “Qupid” as their brand, but I found them at Charlotte Russe for under $30. My best friend Avery (yes, a male) helped me pick them out for a different outfit, but I thought they’d go since the ruffles are similar. I posted this picture on FB and Instagram to get some help from my followers and everyone liked the bottom. Shout out to Javiare for persuading me to go with the top ones, “Everyone expects you to do the bottom… DO THE TOP!!!”.
The dress is one I found at Ross along with my blue dress for like $12. I call it my “baby doll” dress… unless that is really what they’re called… then that is just awkward ha! The tag says “Delirious” and it makes me wonder if these random brands were made to sell in Ross, if not, then where did they originally sell? Anywho, I love the ruffles at the collarbone and the way the shoulders are “scrunched”, it makes me feel as though it balances out te shortness of the dress and makes it not so slutty, but tasteful and classy.
I wore a pair of pink-tinted pearl studs, two pearl charm bracelets (one random the other Betsey Johnson), and some chunky gold bangles. I wore my hair up in the best possible “messy bun” I could manage with my current length, but I think it came together.
This outfit was for a listening party, what do you think? Have any “Pic Stich” of your own? Send them to me! I would love to feature it!
The first ever Rocawear commercial is a retrospective of Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter’s journey as a kid growing up in the humble projects of Brooklyn aspiring to make music and eventually making history. On that journey, the first business beyond music was the birth of Rocawear. Carter’s Rocawear brand represents his prowess as a business man who continues to challenge himself to be more than merely a musician.
I actually just started to like Katy Perry after watching a Katy takeover on Fuse. All I can do is LOL to the video. It’s low-key dope. Reminds me of the scream-o covers of Lil’ Wayne my guy Marc used to put me on to. Note: she did NOT use the “N” word, so, what do you think?
Yes, I am sure we are all a little burnt out on the “Sh*t ___ says” videos but here is just one more! My friend sent this to me and I just this was hilarious, as I am a huge Rihanna fan. The video is obviously poking fun at her and her young, wild, and free attitude of bashing back fans who bash her, the DV with Chris, collaborating with him in her last song, and faking the funk with rivals Nicki, Katy and Gaga.
A little while back I seen this song posted on FB. From what I understand, Mike told Elvis Freshly he should jump on #WTT track, That’s My B*tch, that night, he did. Now, McClarron has jumped on with a verse of his own. Seems like a few people are surprised he has bars, but I’m not. He’s a smart dude, duh! Check it out, pretty dope!
